HORAM PARISH COUNCIL COMMUNITY FUND GRANTS

Applications now invited for 2019/20 community grants.

At the January 2017 Parish Council meeting, members resolved to release £10,000 from their Community Loan Fund. Some of you may remember that these monies originated from the disbanding of the Horam Community Association Group in 1995. £10,000 will continue to be held in “the Loan Fund” which is used as a holding fund for use by village organisations as a source of funding projects (to be paid back with a realistic rate of interest).
The £10,000 that is now available will be in the form of a grant and applications are invited from local Horam organisations for consideration, firstly by the Finance Committee, followed by referral (if considered appropriate) and ratification by Full Council.
Applications will be considered in line with the suggestions made by the originators of the original monies.

Application forms are now available for the 2019/20 financial year and should be returned by 5th October 2018 for consideration.  Please contact Lesley Lane – Horam Parish Council RFO – by email at or post (The Horam Centre, High Street Horam, TN21 0EH) for further details and/or an application form and the grant awarding policy statement.
